 Winter 2005-2006 this old bull moose was hanging around our home. Though it was rather exciting to see him most of the winter, I think he was ill or dieing; he was shaggy and lethargic. My golden retrievers; Sandy and Jessica would go up to him and he would just snort and not get up to protect himself or flee. He got used to the dogs and they left him alone. One day in March he was gone.
